IAI joins MERA partners in launching new metals environmental research platform

The International Aluminium Institute is pleased to support the launch of a new website by the Metals Environmental Research Associations (MERA), a collaborative group of metals industry associations working to advance environmental science and research across the sector.

The new platform brings together scientific resources developed or supported by MERA and its ETAP (Ecotoxicity Technical Advisory Panel) partnerships, offering a central reference point for environmental data, research and tools relevant to the metals industry.

IAI’s involvement in MERA reflects our commitment to rigorous environmental science as a foundation for responsible aluminium production. Paul Marsh represents IAI within the MERA partnership.

Members attending the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) North America 47th Annual Meeting are encouraged to visit the Metals Data Center at Booth 25 to meet MERA representatives and learn more about the platform and its resources.
