About COP30

The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the world’s largest United Nations gathering dedicated to discussions and negotiations on climate change. Held annually, the conference rotates its presidency among the five UN-recognized regions.

In 2025, Brazil will have the honor of hosting the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Belém, Pará. This city—located in the gateway to the Amazon—will offer a unique stage for global dialogue on climate solutions rooted in the planet’s most vital ecosystem.

As host nation, Brazil reaffirms its commitment to strengthening multilateral cooperation and advancing the implementation of the Paris Agreement.
