Current IAI membership represents major producers of bauxite, alumina and aluminium across all significant regions, including China. Since its foundation in 1972, IAI members have included companies engaged in the production of bauxite, alumina, aluminium, the recycling of aluminium, or fabrication of aluminium, as well as joint venture partners in such activities.
