Report on the Aluminium Industry’s Global Perfluorocarbon Gases Emissions.

Published annually by the International Aluminium Institute – the anode effect report with 2019 data is now available.

The report shows a 40% global decrease in PFC emissions (CO2e) per tonne of production since 2006 and a 90% reduction since 1990. The global PFC emission intensity has remained stable since 2009.
